Caesars Chalet holiday ice rink – Ninety-minute skating sessions are available daily from 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Skate rentals are available for $5 per session; each 90-minute session costs $20 per person. This year guests can also purchase an extended pass and/or rent the entire rink for a private party or event.All Access Pass: $35 Unlimited public skating on day of purchase & complimentary skate rental. Chalet Pass – $150. Anytime access to the rink without waiting, private morning skate for chalet pass holders. Multi-Pass Package – $300. Package of 10 all access passes/valid anytime and complimentary skate rental. Private Party – $3,500. Includes private access to the ice skating rink for you and your party. Winter Wonderland by Container Park – The Winter Wonderland is the perfect holiday escape. Glittering Lights at the Motor Speedway – Glittering Lights at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway is now open nightly! The first 15,000 vehicles through the gates will receive a goodie bag full of deals, coupons & show tickets! Gates open every night at 5:30. Weeknight, excludes holidays $13/car and Weekend & Holidays $18/car.
ADVENTURE TO SANTA AT FASHION SHOW
The Fashion Show mall and DreamWorks Animation are unveiling a first-of-its-kind holiday experience that begins with Shrek and ends with Santa on Nov. 14. The Adventure to Santa show features 6 different light and sound shows, 15,000 animated twinkling LED lights and 100 strobes. Located in the Great Hall near Nordstrom. Open to public Nov. 14-Dec. 24.
Santa Train at Boulder City – December 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th, 20th, 21st. Departures are at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00. Boarding begins 20 minutes before departure (the line often begins forming at least 30 minutes before departure). $5 per person. Child carriers count as a seat. No strollers, food, or drink are allowed on the train.
Pajama Train at Boulder City – Friday & Saturday. December 5, 6 & 12, 13. Town Square Snow Fall – Snow in the Square – The snow shows kick off on November 14 in Town Square Park and run through December 23. Shows take place Monday through Thursday at 7 p.m. and Friday through Sunday at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. Each show lasts 10 minutes and is choreographed to holiday music.
HOLIDAYS AT SPRINGS PRESERVE
The Springs Preserve will offer train rides with Santa Clause Dec. 22-24 at 11 a.m., noon, 1, 2 and 3 p.m. Their most-popular kids-only tradition of the year — their “Polar Express” Night — will take place Dec. 20. Open to ages 5-12. Features a screening of the PG-rated holiday movie, museum discoveries, crafts, pizza, snacks and more. The Springs Preserve will also offer holiday cooking oil recycling again this year from Nov. 28-Dec. 1 and Dec. 26-Jan. 15. In addition, they will offer Christmas tree recycling from Dec. 26-Jan. 15.

Las Vegas Great Santa Run – December 6th, 8am – 6pm. This event is a 5k run and a 1 mile walk. This is a monumental year for Opportunity Village to celebrate both the 10th Anniversary of the Las Vegas Great Santa Run and 60th anniversary of providing programs and services for individuals with disabilities in the Las Vegas community. The Las Vegas Great Santa Run is not only one of fundraisers but also an internationally recognized holiday tradition that attracts families, businesses, individuals and global tourists to downtown Las Vegas. All registrations include a 5-piece Santa Suit, Participant Medal & Runner Goodie Bag. HOMETOWN HOLIDAYS AT PROVIDENCE
In the master planned community, Hometown Holidays kicks off Dec. 6 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Knickerbocker Park. The event begins with lighting of a Christmas tree featuring Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwanzaa arts and crafts, caroling, DJ, free cookie decorating, snow machines, a light show, food trucks and hot chocolate. Santa Clause, The Grinch and Providence Dog will be available for photos. Bring canned good and non-perishable items to donate to Three Square.
Candy Cane Festival – Location: Heritage Park Aquatic Complex – Address: 310 S. Racetrack Road Phone: 702-267-4000. Celebrate the magic of winter with games, a bounce house, treats, and an underwater candy cane hunt. All pool rules apply. Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian within arm’s reach at all times. HERITAGE HOLIDAYS AT CLARK COUNTY MUSEUM
Heritage Holidays is a free holiday event running Dec. 12-13 at the Clark County Museum. The public can visit Heritage Street at night and see the museum’s unique collection of houses lit up for the holidays. The nights festivities include holiday music and strolling carolers from Green Valley High School’s Madrigals choir, a craft tent, visits with Santa and elves and hot chocolate. Self guided holiday tours will also be available Dec. 6 through Jan. 10
2014 NFR COWBOY CHRISTMAS SHOW
The 2014 NFR Cowboy Christmas Show is taking place Dec. 4-13 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Hundreds of vendors will offer the latest unique gifts for families and friends.
Nevada Ballet – The Nutcracker – This December, experience the cherished holiday classic of The Nutcracker. The first production of its kind built for the Reynolds Hall stage featuring grand sets, costumes and choreography.
Lake Mead Parade of Lights – There will be approximately 50 decorated boats from 16 feet to 75 feet that will parade along the shore of Boulder Beach from Lake Mead Marina to the Hemenway launch ramp and returning to the Lake Mead Marina. Awards will be presented in each of 10 classes. No entry fee but boats must be registered and safety inspected to be eligible for the parade. 7 p.m.. Sponsored by the Lake Mead Boat Owners Association.
CHRISTMAS AT THE VENETIAN AND THE PALAZZO – A 65-foot-tall Venetian-inspired Christmas Tree is the centerpiece of Doge’s Palace plaza during the holidays. The tree is lit with 50,000 programmable LED lights. Inside, the Waterfall Atrium & Gardens at The Palazzo will be will be transformed into an elaborate show-stopping winter display, a creation of The Palazzo’s award-winning horticulture team. The winter gardens will feature white poinsettias accented with champagne, gold and green. Ice branches and 20-foot frosted birch, pine and glittering trees will complement the picturesque scene, including the waterfall and crystal “ice” ponds. Majestic hand-crafted white and pearl peacock statues will overlook guests.
Human Nature will perform a brand-new show titled “Christmas, Motown and More” for twelve dates at The Venetian from Dec. 12-24.
Scuba Santa at the Silverton Casino – Santa Clause is swimming among the 4,000 sharks, stingrays and tropical fish this holiday season! From 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. this Saturday and Sunday (Dec. 22 & Dec. 23), kids of all ages are welcome to take photos with our Underwater Santa and his elves, as they swim around in their, very warm to them, 70 degree waters and interact with the fish. Thanks to the latest in scuba technology, holiday enthusiasts can even talk back and forth with Mr. Clause from under the water. Sam’s Town Mystic Falls – Enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season at Sam’s Town’s Winter Wonderland. This is the time of year when you cans see beautiful lights and holiday decorations in Mystic Falls Park.
The pioneer-themed Mystic Falls Park is transformed into an immersive winter wonderland experience with garland streams, wreath-adorned lampposts, and white light and snow-covered trees that fill the atrium.
Sam’s Town will be hosting the 15-minute laser light spectacular hourly during the holiday season, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. through January 1. And from November 29 to December 23, Santa will appear Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 12 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
10TH ANNUAL CELEBRATION ON ICE
The Fiesta Rancho SoBe Ice Arena will present its 10th annual celebration on ice “The Joy of Christmas” on Dec. 13 and 14. The show will feature local figure skaters of all ages performing to music the whole family will enjoy.
SANTA ARRIVES IN DOWNTOWN SUMMERLIN
Santa comes to town Nov. 22 at 11 a.m. beginning his residence at downtown Summerlin with a rocking arrival and dance party. Santa will be at Festival Plaza at Rosemary Park Drive.
