This annual treasure is an extension of a year long treat for families across the Valley. The always hospitable Cowboy Max and family welcome visitors to their ranch for a good, clean (well, you will need a bath after) fun! This family farm opened for the fall season on September 23 with more activities than you can shake your broomstick at! Located in Washington, Utah, about 120 miles north on I-15, this 350 acre farm property hosts more than 30,000 visitors in the month of October alone. It’s no wonder people flock to the farm, there’s something for everyone! Fifteen years of fun on this farm and each year gets better. Attractions include a Pumpkin Patch, Corn Maize, the Field of Screams, Farmland (includes Jumping Pillow, Horse Swing, Rope Swing, Corn Slide, Kids’ Farm House, Duck Races, Pirate Ship, Playground, Bee Line, Trick or Treat Trail, Cow Train, and more), Chuck Wagon Diner, Wick’A Dee Witch, Camp fire and Smores, Petting Zoo, and Pig Races. Other favorites include the Witchy Weekend events likes Witches Night Out and Witches & Waffles.

The Village at Lake Las Vegas celebrates the 2016 Fall Festival.
From Oct.8 through Nov. 27, there will be daily free activities from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. including a pumpkin patch, hay bale maze, a trick or trike tricycle course and a corn pile where kids of all ages can play in a giant pile of real corn kernels.
The Fall Festival will host extra-special community events on Fridays and Saturdays including the MonteLago Village BeerFest, Henderson Symphony Orchestra’s “Scary Symphony,” Shakespeare in the park performances, Haunted Pirates Cruises for children, pumpkin-carving contests, Halloween costume contest for dogs, a petting zoo, pony rides, bounce houses and amusement rides to name a few. Halloween Express at the Nevada State Railroad Museum
The Nevada Southern Railway proudly presents the 9th Annual Halloween Express! New for this year ….The event will be on Saturday and Sunday, October 22nd and 23rd and Saturday, October 29th and Sunday, October 30th.
Highlights include FREE rides for kids in costume, pumpkin patch (pumpkins are $7 each), scavenger hunt, free games and face painting and the train will be decorated in a “ghoully” holiday fashion.
