Before the heat sends them flying away, check out the butterflies at the Springs Preserve! There is nothing quiet as beautiful as butterflies in the spring! The exhibit is open from 10am until 3pm each day, but the last ticket is sold at 2:45pm. Admission to the Butterfly Habitat is $2 for members, $3 for non-members. All guests ages 2 and up must be ticketed.
Plus while you’re there, you can experience all the fun the Springs Preserve has to offer, in case you haven’t already. See the Extreme Parrots, visit Boomtown 1905, experience the Science of Ripleys Believe It or Not, or a personal favorite of my children … the Nature Exchange!
The coolest concept for nostalgic family fun in Las Vegas is Meepleville Cafe. Meeple = My People and that’s what your family is! Take a night during Spring Break and have a family game night! According to their calendar Mondays are free entry and Tuesdays 6 people are $10! Take a Hike
Just get outside. I know, it’s Spring in the desert and it’s breezy and sneezy and sometimes all around miserable, but do your best and get out there. Next week it will be 120 degrees and you’ll regret not enjoying the 80s if you don’t do it right now! Use the Neon to Nature app to find a trail that’s close to you and fits your family’s needs and you can also take advantage of the City of Henderson’s Bike it or Hike it program!

PLUS don’t forget Kaffe Live’s fantastic weekend brunch that features $12 bottomless mimosas!
Whatever you do during your Spring Break remember to take a break and spend time as a family enjoying each other and the things you enjoy doing. Relax. Revive. Remember.
