Memorial Day is typically thought of as the unofficial start of summer and many Americans experience an extra day of time with family during this national holiday. While we are busy enjoying the sunshine, water sports, pool play, and the many things to do in Las Vegas, please stop and remember those who served.
Memorial Day is a day to remember and honor those who have died serving our country, the United States of America. Please remember them on this day and the sacrifice they made.

Join the Ranger on Friday from 10 am – 12 noon. Never shot a bow before? No problem! This ranger-supervised program will teach you the basics of an ancient art with modern equipment. All equipment is provided, please do not bring your own archery equipment. Please wear closed-toe footwear and bring a hat, sunscreen, and water.
This event has a limited number of participants and is recommended for participants ages nine and up. Please call 702-875-4141 to reserve a spot. Group sign-ups will be limited to four people per group
Use your senses to discover how you can detect invisible molecules with just your nose. It’s all possible at the DISCOVERY Children’s Museum.

Saturday 10am – 2pm. Try on civil war uniforms, learn to march and drill in formation, and participate in a skirmish with other visitors in this hands-on event. Learn from knowledgeable re-enactors and see historic weapons, including the arms carried by soldiers and a light cannon at this family-friendly event.

COST: Entry to Spring Mountain Ranch State Park is $9.00, and Nevada residents receive a $2.00 discount. There is no charge to participate in this event.
Saturday from 10am -1pm, swing by the Visitors’ Center to celebrate butterflies. Learn about these colorful pollinators, meet our guest butterfly enthusiast and local groups working to conserve butterfly habitats, see preserved specimens, and make a take-home craft. All ages are welcome, and no registration is necessary.
Join Bass Pro Shops Las Vegas for Critters & Creatures family kids event Saturday May 27 from 12pm-5pm, and Sunday May 28 from 12pm-4:30pm.
Enjoy Catch and Release Pond with fun photo download, kids workshop seminar at 1:30pm. Learn fish cleaning tips at 2:30 each day from local Boy Scouts. Plus enjoy cooking demos and free samples.
Crafts will be available Saturday May 27 from 12pm-5pm and Sunday May 28 from 12:30pm-4:30pm.
The first 100 kids who complete all activities and get the card punched will receive a frog style visor.
Clark County Parks & Recreation Activity Pools
Most of the Clark County activity pools will be open this weekend, but please call before you go. We expect that Desert Breeze, Hollywood, Paradise, and Walnut will all be open Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Regular hours, including week days, will begin on June 10th.
The City of Henderson will also open its pools this weekend. You can find complete details on pool hours and the summer pool season in this brochure.
Saturday at 7:05pm. Tickets start a $12.50 and children under 3 are free when on a lap.
Dive In Movies: The Breakfast Club
Monday evenings from Memorial Day to Labor Day, the Marquee at Boulevard Pool transforms into a colossal movie screen, showing your favorite films high above the Las Vegas Strip. Movies are $5 for non-hotel guests, and complimentary for hotel guests and children under the age of 5.
Doors open at 7PM | Movie begins at 7:30PM

• No advance tickets or reservations – all tickets purchased are processed at the door on the night of the movie
