Finding a unique park in North Las Vegas, Vegas, or Henderson is not hard to do. When we first visited the Aliante Nature Discovery Park we quickly saw why locals called it the Dinosaur Park!
The Aliante Nature Discovery Park | Dinosaur Park is a fully fenced. This is a feature I adore. I also like that the bathrooms are close enough that you can bring children working on potty training.  The bathrooms are not inside the fenced area though, so you still need to watch for “the look”.
Bring plenty of sand toys to share with new friends made in the Dino Dig sandbox! Kids enjoy replicas of fossilized dinosaurs including a couple of baby dinosaur hatchlings.  Climbing and photo opts at the giant triceratops skull is a must as well.  The Aliante Nature Discovery Park | Dinosaur Park playground features big-kid slides, a tot area, and water play with splash pad.
Outside the fence, families can stroll around the man-made lake with little creeks and the occasional wooden bridge. Just behind the park is a waterfall feeding into the biggest of the lakes.  Kids and parents enjoy the park’s duck residents, *Do Not Feed the Animals.
Soccer fields and the sand volleyball stadium attract older children. In warmer months, the park hosts outdoor movies and music festivals.
