Las Vegas may be known as an adult playground, but the excitement and adventures along the Las Vegas Strip can capture the attention of the entire family. From golf lessons and roller coasters, underwater adventures and super hero missions, to chocolate and cola, there’s something for everyone of every age on the Las Vegas Strip.
Topgolf Las Vegas
Topgolf Las Vegas offers 107 climate-controlled bays, 2 pools, incredible food and a swinging time. Bays start at $30 an hour for up to 6 people on one of three floors. Top Golf Las Vegas offers regular specials and events like unlimited play, concerts and even yoga. Sample the and unique cocktails offered. Kids can choose from a well-priced menu of their own, or take advantage of favorites like the Jumbo Pretzel Board and Injectable Donut Holes. Top Golf Las Vegas is located at the MGM Grand, and has free on-site parking.
Adventure Dome
Even when it’s hot outside, the Adventure Dome is always cool. This 5-acre indoor amusement park hosts and assortment of more than 25 rides and attractions. Flexible ticketing options allow for one quick ride or, for the best value and fun, stay all day. Adventure Dome attractions include midway games, free clown shows, a circus carousel, 4D rides, bumper cars and a coaster that allows riders to experience 1.5 Vertical-G. The Adventure Dome is located at Circus Circus Hotel & Casino at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip.
Ultimate 4D Experience
This 15-minute experience places viewers alongside Hollywood favorites with high-definition 3D projection and thrilling special effects. Kids will especially enjoy in an entirely new way. Additional current features include The Ultimate 4D Experience is in the Fun Dungeon at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino. Tickets start at just $9.99 per person.
Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N.
This is where Marvel Agents are made. If you have what it takes, accept the mission, create a probationary agent profile and then step into the world of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Guided with an interactive device and directions from Maria Hill, participants engage in challenges and interact with the equipment, gear and memorabilia of Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Iron Man, Ant Man, Falcon, Black Widow, Vision, Hawkeye and Hydro man. During the mission, knowledge, strength and imagination will be tested. Be prepared for an epic battle before the mission is complete.
The epic experience that is Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N. is located inside Treasure Island. Parents should be prepared to assist younger children in their mission. While strollers are allowed, please be prepared for some detours when leaving the exhibit. Children under the age of 3 are admitted free of charge.
Downtown Container Park
Built from 43 shipping containers of varying size and 41 Xtreme cubes, Downtown Container Park is a hub for retail, dining and entertainment just east of the Fremont Street Experience. A 40-foot, fire-breathing preying mantis greets visitors entering the park. Kids can enjoy the monitored, interactive playground that features a giant treehouse while adults relax, shop or enjoy some of the many unique foods and beverages offered inside the park. Downtown Container Park also features boutique retail stores, including Kappa Toys and Jinja Chocolate, and yummy treats like candy, shaved iced and popcorn. Families lounge on the lawn playing with giant Lego bricks and listening to live entertainment.
Downtown Container Park is located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, at the corner of Fremont Street and South 7th Street. The quick trip is worth it for parents and children alike. Container Park is limited to those 21 years of age and older after 9 p.m.
