There really is something for everyone in Las Vegas. As the entertainment capital of the world, there are so many experiences for people of every age, from shows to tours to unique museum attractions. When you’re traveling as a family, it’s nice to have budget-friendly experiences on your itinerary. Here are our favorite free experiences on the Las Vegas Strip.

Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens
This 14,000-square-foot area transforms into an enchanting floral display to mimic the distinct features and colors of each season, with an additional display for Chinese New Year. The conservatory is dark between the changing of seasonal displays. Check the web site for dates.

Flamingo’s Wildlife Habitat
One of the most unique experiences on the Las Vegas Strip is the Wildlife Habitat at the Flamingo. This paradise is located on the 15-acre grounds of the Flamingo, and the habitat is home to exotic birds, fish and turtles. Flamingo Island is also home to a flock of Chilean flamingos. The habitat includes islands, streams, waterfalls and beautiful foliage. A visit to this serene environment is a perfect escape, and a fantastic opportunity for families to regroup. The Wildlife Habitat is open daily from dusk to dawn, with Pelican feedings at 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. daily.

Circus Acts at Circus Circus
Circus Circus offers the world’s largest permanent circus, with free performances beginning at 11:30 a.m. daily. See various performers and acts beginning every hour until 11:30 p.m. The main stage is located in the center of the Circus Circus Midway.

CBS Television City 
Located in The District at the MGM Grand, Television City is a fun, free experience for every member of the family. Enjoy TV show screenings every half hour, see shows before they premiere and purchase merchandise from your favorite CBS programs. Visitors have reported receiving high-value coupon packets or even cash for participating in research panels about television shows. What will you see on your visit?

Lake of Dreams at the Wynn
Enjoy nightly shows at this 40-foot waterfall with music and images created by more than 4,000 lights, holographics and more. The magic starts when the sun sets. Shows are nightly, every half hour between 8 p.m. and 12:30 a.m.
