Nannette Melamed

A mom of two crazy boys who keep her on her toes, Nannette is never prepared for what life throws at her. The two boys, three dogs, a pig, three tortoises, a hedgehog, and one husband are an adventure of their own, without leaving the house. Despite the chaos, Nannette is always looking for the best Southern Nevada has to offer families. A Las Vegas resident for 13 years, Nannette has been the owner of Vegas Family Guide since 2016. When she’s not working and chasing children or animals, Nannette enjoys … well, that’s never happened. Check back in 2021.

Favorite local attraction: Gilcrease Nature Sanctuary

Natalia Borquez

This mom of three has been into everything local since landing in Las Vegas in 2015. Originally from Southern California, Natalia is a local educator and licensed BCBA. From music classes, to lacrosse, to high school volley ball, this family stays busy. There is always something fun happening in their household.

Favorite Local Attraction: The Art District

Amber Smith

Amber has recently found her love of everything outdoors and makes hiking a regular part of her week. If she’s not on a trail with her husband, you can find her enjoying the best vegan food in Las Vegas. Amber and her husband Aaron founded Maple Street Charm, a local company that crafts artisan candles and body products! Look for pictures of Kaya and Dash, the daughter and dog duo that keep Amber on her toes.

Camille Gabel

Camille has been a blogger since blogging was invented and she’s made it a full-time job! A mother of two, a teenager and a tween, Camille is dedicated to serving her family. Camille has been an owner of Vegas Family Guide since 2018 and is the solid voice of reason behind everything that happens here.

Tina Herschberger

Tina is the most fun you can have in real life! Along with her husband and two children, Tina creates happiness where ever she is. From secret Lego rooms and homemade magic shows, to family hikes and creative meals, Tina makes motherhood look easy. Follow her on Instagram for affordable fashion tips too! We’re excited to welcome the 5th member of this family in May!

Danny Velilla

It’s hard to explain Danny in words because he lives life in more of a “video in fast forward” way. This adventurous, adrenaline-seeking father of two plays hard and doesn’t leave a second to spare. From snow skiing at Lee Canyon to ATVs in the desert sand, train rides in Boulder City, carnivals in Pahrump and swimming with the dogs at Lake Mead, Danny and the family can always be found on an outdoor adventure. Danny is the brains behind our video and drone footage and most of our hiking adventures too! You can see Danny’s video on our YouTube and IGTV.
