The Las Vegas Natural History Museum closes out its annual December to remember with Hot Chocolate Science on December 31, 2022. This fun event is scheduled at 11am and again at 1pm. Stay for the shark feeding at 2pm.

Glittering Lights at Las Vegas Motor Speedway invites you to experience a magical firework show on Dec. 31 at 9:00 p.m. PT. Keep holiday spirits flying high with a safe drive through millions of lights following the firework show, the perfect early NYE event for families. Guests are invited to line up at 8:30 p.m. for fireworks that will be viewable across the speedway from the comfort of their cars.

Places to watch fireworks on New Year’s Eve
If you’re avoiding the Strip and the crowds, and are still awake at midnight, here are a few great places around the valley to watch the fireworks displays that will launch from 8 resorts on December 31.

or anywhere along Durango between Flamingo and Spring Mountain.
Majestic Park
Exploration Peak Park
The peak is a great place to watch fireworks across the valley.
Parking garages
If you want to brave the airport, the top level of the parking garage there is a great place.
Also, the top level of the parking garage at Orleans Casino has a great view, but it depends on where you park.
