On Saturday May 11th, ​FIT4MOM Las Vegas returns to Downtown Summerlin® to present our 11th annual Celebration of Moms event, just in time for Mother’s Day! Previous events have gathered hundreds of mothers and babies for our signature mommy and me program, Stroller Strides® followed by countless others who attended the Mother’s Day vendor fair. Post workout events have featured interactive booths focused on pampering and treating local Valley moms while providing a full array of activities for their families.
This year’s event takes place from 8:30 a.m. – noon on the Lawn just outside of the Pavilion.
Event highlights include a free Stroller Strides® workout, free professional mommy and me photos, free very highly-sought swag bags for the first 50 moms, and post workout fun and entertainment complete with raffle giveaways, interactive Mother’s Day vendor fair, a full lineup of children’s activities and on-stage children’s demonstrations and more!
Event is free and open to the general public… Join us in celebrating YOU!

- Wear sturdy closed-toed shoes for comfortability.
- Bring cold water, hats, sunscreen, and sun umbrellas.
- Walk for long period of time in the sun and unlevel ground.
Feel free to enjoy 60+ acres of fruit trees, u-pick garden, concessions including breakfast burritos, carrot cake donuts, educational chicken coop, educational desert tortoise habitats, and more! Helldorado Days Parade

The 2024 parade will be held downtown Saturday, May 11, starting at 10am. on Fourth Street between Gass and Stewart avenues. See the map for parade route, staging areas and available parking lots.
The Commission for the Las Vegas Centennial is offering $1,000 for local school marching band entries and $1,500 for quality local school float entries, limit of two parade entries per school. The Commission also offers $1,000 to local artists whose entry is reflective of Las Vegas life and history. There is space for a total of 100 entries. A committee will judge the entries during the parade and prizes will be awarded, including Best Casino Float, $500 for the best marching band and $500 for the best historic Las Vegas-themed float.
Parade entries are expected to represent the diversity of the city, its founding in 1905 as a railroad town, where we come from, how we have grown and where we are going. Cultural and historical groups and organizations, schools, artists, car/motorcycle clubs, service organizations are encouraged to participate.

Get ready to immerse yourself in a sea of golden petals as we invite you to join us for an enchanting event celebrating the beauty of sunflowers. Our Sunflower Days event promises a day filled with joy, exploration, and the simple pleasures of nature!
Ticket Price $5 plus fee:
- 1 ticket per person
- Ages 5 years old and under are free.
- Please arrive within 15 minutes of your tickets time.
- As this is a special event, we will not be able to reimburse if you are not able to attend.

Not Included:
- Sunflowers are an additional $2 per stem.

Be Prepared to:
- Have your shears to cut sunflowers.
- Wear sturdy closed-toed shoes for comfortability.
- Bring cold water, hats, sunscreen, and sun umbrellas.
- Walk for long period of time in the sun and unlevel ground.
Feel free to enjoy 60+ acres of fruit trees, u-pick garden, concessions including breakfast burritos, carrot cake donuts, educational chicken coop, educational desert tortoise habitats, and more! Please keep in mind our business closing time for these dates are at 12pm noon. The event and our regular operation will also close at that time.Â
16th Annual Spring Cleaning Event at Mt. CharlestonÂ

Help spruce up the mountain before the busy summer season. It’s a great opportunity for team building while providing community service with visible impact.
Every winter, thousands of visitors flock to the Spring Mountains to play in the snow. Unfortunately, as the snow melts and wildflowers begin popping up, so does unsightly litter. In past years, volunteers picked up the normal cans, bottles, and broken sleds, but have also hauled out a car muffler, abandoned hardware, old tires, and more!
If you’d like to have a group attend and be assigned the same location, please email volunteer@gomtcharleston.com to have your group added to the sign up form. Each group must have at least 5 people to be added to the sign up form. Volunteers are assigned a litter pick-up area in advance and will be sent specific details once registered. You will check in at your location from 9:00am to 9:30am with their designated site leader.
