DISCOVERY Children’s Museum is thrilled to announce our annual signature event, The Magic of DISCOVERY: Galactic Gala – Presented by The Brenden Mann Foundation, Bravo Tickets & Eight Lounge, which will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Zouk Nightclub inside of Resorts World Las Vegas.
It will truly be a rocketing experience as we fly you to the moon for an incredible space-themed evening! Embark on a trip through the final frontier with incredibly nebulous décor, a telescopically terrific strolling dinner featuring exquisite culinary delights from each of Resorts World’s coveted eateries such as Carversteak, Fuhu, Brezza, Kusa Nori, Wally’s, and more, as well as totally out of this world entertainment and live performances! The silent auction will be filled with celestial choice items, and the live auction will present several stellar, one-of-a-kind experiences that are sure to be a big bang!
In cosmic gratitude for their contributions to the Museum, we will be honoring the late Dr. Joe & Joan Lapan on behalf of their families, Dr. David & Jackie Lapan | Tessie & Peter Poggione with The Great Friend to Kids Award. The Lapan and Poggione families have been instrumental in the life of the Museum and its ability to serve the children of our community since our early days as the Lied Discovery Children’s Museum. Their Investment into creating the “DISCOVERY on Wheels” program, which reaches nearly 12,000 students Pre-K through fifth grade annually, allows us to continue to bring the best discoveries, education, and resources to children, families, and schools for light-years to come.
