Free Fishing Day Event
Saturday, June 13
This is your one chance during the year to get hooked for free! No fishing license is needed for adults or children to fish any public water on this date. All limits and other regulations apply.
Free Fishing Day in Nevada always falls on the second Saturday in June.

- Where: Boulder City Pond, 1650 Buchanan Blvd Boulder City, NV 89005
- When: 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
- What: It’s our annual Free Fishing Day! Join us for a fun day of fishing demos and prizes! Participants must register ahead of time to be entered into prizes and giveaways. We will have staff and volunteers on the water to help you if needed. Let us know when you check-in. Loaner equipment, tackle, and bait will also be available at the First Catch Trailer.
- Western Nevada
- Where: Sparks Marina, Sparks, NV
- When: 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- What: The Rotary Club of Sparks in partnership with the City of Sparks and Nevada Department of Wildlife will host the annual Kid’s Free Fishing Event, free for all kids 17 years old and younger. Free fishing poles and bait are also provided while supplies last. We also have coach volunteers to help our youth anglers reel them in. NDOW will stock the lake with thousands of rainbow trout! Face painting and many more fun activities will be available for the whole family. Contact with questions.
